 the project:

We all have stories. We take them around with us every day. We walk around with ghosts, and a past we carry around like a suitcase and unpack at the strangest of times. Sometimes we’ll catch sight of something or a light scent will waft by us and we’ll be catapulted back into a story from the past.

Sometimes the stories are simple. Sometimes they are more complex. Sometimes they are fun and carefree. Sometimes they ooze with heartbreak and pain. Sometimes they bring about memories of other people, and sometimes they just bring about memories of the people we used to be.

All of these stories, all of these ghosts - we all carry them. No matter our age, our gender, or where we are from, we all experience love and loss and longing. I want to hear your story.

Think of each photo as a memory prompt - what does it make you think of? What story does it trigger in you? Each image is a Rorschach of our lives and hopefully this will prove: we are not alone. You are not alone. You are poetry.

All names and personal information will be kept confidential. So, please tell me your story and I'll tell you mine.
